End of German Class

Last week was my last week of German class. I am both sad and glad at its ending. Glad, because it was too long and not as informational as I would have liked. Sad, because I know regular school will be much much harder and I will miss my buddies from the class (California, New York, and Tiwan). As school started again this week I found that my classmates collected all of the handouts I missed for me, which means I have a two inch thick pile of stress sitting in my backpack, and I also have really nice classmates (I wrote them thank you cards). I can say for sure know that my favorite classes are Chemistry, Math, and English. I seem to have a natural grasp at all three. The hardest ones are ethics (the teacher talks crazy fast) and Economics (I have no previous know late of this subject). My days are kept busy with yoga, Zumba, Vollyball, and crazy amounts of homework. I will probably be posting less just because of this.

Now to update you about non-school things, this weekend we went to a birthday party for Barbara's goddaughter. It was a whole day thing and everyone who came brought her a cake (I wonder if that's a Swiss thing). There were two little kids from are family there and 4 little kids from their family. All in all it was fun, full of crying, and really crazy. That night I baked fajitas, the tofu got dried out to much but besides that they were good. We also skyped with Lea. The previous day I had my last day of German Class and then went to dinner at friends of my families. It was about 2 hours from Grenchen. After dinner the kids and I saw the children's production of the Jungle book (mostly in Swiss German). It was fun.
